Layout by the pool, shop at our store, visit our library or come feed the fish! Stay in a retired Milwaukee or Chicago-Northwestern road caboose and enjoy all this and more. Each caboose contains a bath, queen size bed, color television and air condition. Some even have kitchenettes! While the motel started with fifteen "rooms", there are now forty-three cabooses on the property. Some of the cars have been joined to form suites. Each caboose has been completely stripped inside and remodeled with new plumbing, heating and electricity. The outside of each caboose has been repainted in railroad style colors. New floors, walls and ceilings transformed the train car into deluxe motel rooms.
